Our wonderful Women’s Emphasis Month may be coming to a close, but we will continue reading I’m a Piece of Work! Sisters Shaped by God throughout September.

So, who all has the book? We know that Sister Geri Dodson has picked up and delivered over 20 copies to readers. Several others have purchased the book at a local bookstore or online. And some already had the book or got it from a friend.

August is Women’s Emphasis Month at Big Bethel AME! To kickoff the month, I’m A Piece of Work! Sisters Shaped by Cynthia L. Hale has been chosen as our first book!

Rev. Dr. Cynthia L. Hale has written out of her own experience of struggle in order to help other women realize and celebrate our uniqueness, acknowledge without shame our issues and challenges, and receive healing and forgiveness.
